I just found out something very interesting about ten minutes ago. While looking around online for additional information for story ideas for my Lilo & Stitch stories, I inadvertently found out that on the Skip episode, grown-up Lilo Pelekai was voiced by Tara Strong, the same actress who voiced Angel! That was a shock since I assumed it was Daveigh Chase changing the pitch in her voice. This information could prove very significant down the road for those who love LiloxStitch shipping especially considering the fact Lilo's voice will sound similar to Angel's in many ways. We might not notice the similarities since we are only human, but Stitch with his super hearing most certainly will. It could be speculated that Stitch had a dream about his future with the one that he loved (grown-up Lilo) and that when he woke up, he didn't remember the face but he did remember the voice. If that is so, the sound of Angel's voice may have triggered his subconscious, making Stitch think that she was the one. At the time, Lilo's voice had not yet matured obviously so Stitch couldn't have known at the time since like I said, he didn't remember everything from the dream. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tara_Strongdisney.wikia.com/wiki/Lilo_Pelekaidisney.wikia.com/wiki/Tara_Strong

I just found out about this after reading a comment on youtube. And when I saw the "Skip" episode about 4 days ago I saw Tara's name on the credits. To me Tara Strong voicing adult Lilo makes more sense than Daveigh Chase doing it because Daveigh was only about 15 when "Skip" was made and I don't think she would have been able to make her voice deep enough. However I think Daveigh changed her voice for teen Lilo earlier in the episode which may have been what caused the confusion of who the voice actress was.
Interesting idea there with the dream. That would be cool.

It sure would. Who would have thought the same person who voiced Angel would also voice adult Lilo.

Yeah its quite ironic. It would be cool if Tara did adult anime Lilo's voice. That way both adult Lilos would sound the same.

Yeah! Too bad everyone is played by different voices in the Anime, even in the English version.

Yeah that was really disappointing. Maybe their Disney contracts expired??

Well, Chris Sanders was fired because they hated his original idea for the movie Bolt. As a result, he lost any rights to Lilo & Stitch he may have had and the without Chris Sanders, the franchise eventually lost much influence in the US.

I heard. When the anime was released in english I knew Chris would not be voicing Stitch but I thought perhaps Jumba and Pleakley's voice actors would return since they were in some other Disney shows and TV shows on other channels. Pleakley's new voice is kinda like the old voice but I wish it was not so high pitched. And Jeff's Jumba is a bit overkill like he is trying to hard to sound like the old Jumba. Honestly I did warm up to the new voices after listening to them enough but they will never be as good as the original voices.
On a side note, I think Bolt would have been better written if Chris had stayed.

Yeah, I think that the Anime really ruined the way Lilo & Stitch was supposed to be. I am not even sure it is proper to call it the "Lilo & Stitch Franchise" anymore since Lilo has been officially demoted from star and now Yuna has more appearances then Lilo ever has.

Personally I like Yuna in and of herself. She is cool in her own right. But the whole "demotion and replacement" of Lilo is just pain wrong. It will probably just be called "The Stitch franchise" if they ever change it.
